Korte Meat Processing in Highland is GROWING. Special thanks to Amy Koerkenmeier for hosting Gateway CEO just days before their grand opening of their new retail and meat processing plant in Highland. As a third generation owner, they are expanding from roughly 12k square feet to over 40k square feet. This new facility offers larger retail space, a community/lunch room, daily lunch items available plus deli and much more!

From the meat processing side, they will increase the flow of production and ease of access for customers dropping off for processing and then picking up finished product. Their production will also include an expanded drying room with design from Germany.

Expansion as third generation is a huge achievement, plus larger employment, fresher and better quality meats due to efficiency in process, taking an older building and giving it new life. Congrats on this launch. Thank you for sharing this vision and growth with Gateway CEO!
