Ava Brandt

About Me

My name is Ava Brandt and I am attending my twelfth year at Maryville Christian School. I have played four years of soccer at MCS, this year serving as goalkeeper for the Girls Varsity Soccer Team. I also will play in my third year of high school basketball during my Senior year. 

I enjoy baking sweet treats in my free time for friends and family. After I graduate, I plan to move on to cosmetology school the following year. I would love to become a hair stylist and open my own salon one day! I love all things cosmetology, hair, nails, makeup - all of it. It brings me so much joy making people happy, and getting all dressed up. Outside of school, I love to spend time with my friends and family, my youth group, babysitting, shopping, and going to dinner from time to time!

My mom has her own dog grooming business and her success has always amazed me. Even though I am not the farm girl type, I live on a farm in rural Edwardsville along with three horses, two ponies, 13+ goats, 100+ birds, six dogs, four cats, and three bunnies. Living on a farm has taught me how to work hard, and nothing comes easy.

I thought CEO was a good fit for me because I enjoy meeting new people, finding solutions for problems, taking charge in situations, being creative, and hearing how others came to their success in the business field.
