Special thanks to Dr. Kris McClusky at ChiropracticWorks for hosting Gateway CEO (Collinsville Triad Maryville and Highland) on Tuesday morning. Dr. Kris is an alumni parent of the CEO program and was excited to chat with this year’s class. Dr. Kris grew up in southern Illinois and came into to contact with a local chiropractor at 15 years old that changed his life. From this point, he knew that he wanted to one day become a Chiropractor and serve those in his community. Today, their office is thriving and serves from 80-100 patients per day, with many successful athletes also building their careers with help from Dr. Kris. ChiropracticWorks offers Chiropractic care, Family Wellness, Sports Performance/Rehab, Softwave Therapy, Invisa-red Treatment and Nutrition & Weight Loss assistance. Here are some highlights that Dr. Kris really impressed upon the CEO class:
- Systems - is a key to success in any business. This is what drives efficiency and ability to grow.
- Clearly define your business mission. Everything that you do to add to your practice/company should fully align with your mission and goals. If it doesn’t - then keep going.
- Find the right people that are doing what you want to do - and do the same thing. Find those in your inner circle that you can trust - but always verify.
- Health is wealth. Caring for your body will help you live your best life every day. Increase the longevity of your life everyday by how you choose to live it.
- What other people think about you - is none of your business. Stand on your morals and principles. Just keep moving forward trusting your integrity.
- Find your passion. Build your business. Pursue family balance.
Dr. Kris finished up with a tour of the office. We missed our picture with Dr. Kris – but we are so thankful for sharing the morning after a long holiday weekend with our CEO class!
